Green & Black Lemon Tea (Snapple)
Tuesday is Iced Tea Review day!
Snapple. A large and popular brand of ready to drink beverages. Not usually the focus of the avid tea drinker. The past few years, Snapple has been pumping out the teas en-masse. They have upped their tea quality a bit, and this brew makes it noticeable.

I am not one for sweetened teas. I’ve noted this in the past. It disheartens me when companies use sugar, sweeteners, and preservative agents in their teas. Something Snapple is known for.
As of late, Snapple has been using more and more pure ingredients and less refined or preservative laden ingredients. This brew is not included in this trend to the good side.
A cloudy brown-orange color through the bottle, the aroma is that of a lemony astringent and citrus sweet liquid.
It was unfortunate I couldn’t taste much of the “tea” in this bottled beverage. Instead, the drink was very sweet with clear overtones of lemon and citrus.
The drink is notable for using quality ingredients though and has a heavy tail even though the brew isn’t particularly strong.
I would recommend this iced tea for drinkers of souther sweet teas, sun teas or of lemony pucker.
