I had a great trip to D.C. on Friday. The entire day rocked! Until I was headed out from a restaurant where I ate dinner (at the suggestion of a congressional security guard). I met this TOTALLY hot and totally awesome woman named Norah! We talked for almost thirty minutes outside not noticing the bitter cold. I gave her my card and we had a merry time.

WHAT A FUCKING IDIOT I was!!!! I didn’t get her number! I didn’t even ask! It never crossed my mind. She works on Capitol Hill, for a House of Representatives member named John. Just so’s ya know(s) there are 23 of those. I’m not really ‘certain’ which one it is she works for but I think that John Conyers of Michigan sounds the most familiar when I think about it. I’ll do some nosing around while trying not to be all stalker-ish, and find a way to get in touch with her. She rocked, and I’d like the chance to just shoot the shit with her sometimes online or over the phone... whatever...

So the Annapolis/Baltimore/D.C. areas are ALL prohibitively expensive. But I LOVE all three areas so much! I ‘REALLY’ want to move there! Please help me find a way! Get me close to D.C. That city is AWESOME!!!

The Annapolis trip on Sunday was pretty cool. But VERY VERY cold! I spent a great deal of time in the Naval Academy area. It was fun! Perhaps I’ll spend more time there when it gets warmer.

I spent a little bit of time in Baltimore itself, but mostly just stayed indoors at the family’s place in Glen Burnie. Aside from that I rode the MTA (Mass Transit Authority) train and hooked up with MARC (inter-city train) to get to and from D.C. on Friday. Just about $20 for a full day of travel. Not too bad if I should say so myself. Though it would be markedly less if I had a MARC monthly pass (one way single trips cost me $7 each, the daily pass for the MTA was only $3.50 gave me access to all of MTA!).

More tomorrow.
