ITO EN invested the vacuum packaged tea bottling technology which brings us the consistent quality we expect from most any tea brand today. This little factoid was imparted on me which at this year’s World Tea Expo.
A beautiful dark amber-gold this tea gives off a mildly astringent vegetal almost spinachy aroma. Similar I think to a strong Kagoshima style Sencha.
The flavor is roasty and bitter with a very strong and long tail which recedes over time. It’s deffinitely a Sencha and is crisp but lingering.
If you’re a fan of stronger more grassy and vegetal green teas, this bottled beverage is perfect for you! Drink leisurely and enjoy!
