Announcement: World Tea Expo

I hope you’re as excited as I am to learn I am going to be in beautiful Las Vegas, Nevada from April 30th until May 5th. “Why should I care if you’re going to blow money in Vegas?” You might ask… Well… Those are the dates for the 2009 World Tea Expo being held at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino!

While I am in Las Vegas I’ll be covering the expo just for you! I’ll bring you photos, reviews, news, opinions and more on the events, panels and people I meet! This “industry only” event is the premiere tea industry expo every year.

I’m extremely excited to take this next step in coverage for you and hope to use the opportunity to further the project along as well, with a few minor adjustments along the way.

I’ve met a great many people in the tea industry over the past few months while operating this blog and am very excited to meet many of those people face to face.

During the expo, you can expect to see the usual post schedule followed. I may not be able to bring you photos until my return, but do very much hope I can manage the uploads while out there.

There’s also a networking event I’ll be attending where everyone will comingle for a while after a keynote speech and some smaller discussions. This event is also the championship awards ceremony and is called “World Tea Championship Awards Ceremony and World Tea Expo Networking Reception.”

Sadly I wasn’t granted “press” access to the event and as such won’t have the ability to attend additional panels or to interview big wigs from the different tea companies and distributors. Nonetheless I’m ecstatic to have this opportunity and am very excited to offer this coverage!
