Anime all-nighter
So Anthony and I went to this Anime all nighter thing being thrown by the UC Anime club. Pretty snazzy if you ask me. A bunch of guys sprang for soda, and a bunch more sprang for way more pizza than anybody should ever feel obligated to buy.Anyway, We arrived a little before the 7PM start time. I was bitching about food before knowing how much pizza (Papa Johns) they would have. We ended up watching a few shows during the almost eight hours we were there. Some magical angel thing that was hilarious as hell. Samurai Troopers, which Anthony swore was Ronin Warriors. We moved on to this show called "Ghost Hunt" which reminded me of a JDrama called "Trick" I watched last year that had three seasons including the final one that ended back in 2005.
For a bit of perspective, Anthony and I used to attend two clubs down at UC for Anime back when we were still in high school. There was a woman there named Karen who had this rather insane ability to get all of the girls in the club instantly on her side for whatever she wanted to watch. She apparently still attends and still uses this ability to her advantage. While it's not such a big deal on occasion, she's had a tendency to take over the club and control the shows being viewed for almost weeks at a time. This is one of the reasons Anthony and I stopped attending.
Anyway, the all nighter was fun, delicious and gave me a cold walking back to my car. :-P Regardless I had a pretty good time.
